Why Use a Slim Wallet for Men?
Some of us seem to think that wallets are filing cabinets, stuffing them up to the breaking point. While it isn’t out of the ordinary to carry around a bulky wallet, it certainly isn’t a good thing. There are plenty of benefits to owning a smaller and slimmer wallet. Benefits that offer comfort, better appearance and even time savings.
With a slim wallet, sitting down on tough surfaces will not be as uncomfortable as with a fat wallet. Your butt’s weight will be fairly distributed, and there you won’t have to deal with a pressure point on either cheek.
If there are only bare essentials in your wallet, you need not be fumbling around as you look for your identification or credit card as you get to the cashier. This will save you some time when you’re in a hurry. It’s way less of a hassle as well when your wallet only has what you need in it.
Are there all sorts of things in your wallet that almost never really use or even look at? If so, do a bit of cleaning and remove what you don’t need. If you have a frequent eater card for a certain restaurant you only visit once in a while, it makes no sense to bring it these around with all the time.
Know a girl who likes men with large, bulky wallets that protrude from their back pockets? Perhaps not. Truth is, big wallets make you look rather silly, especially if your wallet more than an inch thick and your pants are well-fitting.
Easy on Your Clothing
When you always put a large heavy wallet in your pants pocket, it will make a groove in your pants over time. Unfortunately, this groove is rather hard to fix, and you may just decide to buy new pants when it begins to look ugly. To avoid this expensive scenario, you can just use a slimmer wallet.
When you put fewer things in your wallet, you will deal with much less trouble in the event that it’s stolen. In fact, a slimmer wallet is less likely to get stolen, simply because it won’t be so noticeable in your back pocket. This means you will become less of a target for would-be pick pockets.
Less Credit Cards to Maintain
To slim your wallet, you shouldn’t only be removing credit cards from it, but also canceling them. If your credit cards don’t have full balances, try using but one. Less accounts means less things to keep track of, saving you a great amount of time. Besides, less credit means less financial pressure.
